What is a key word?
A key word is a word that is present on your page content that you want Google to pay special attention to. It is a word that your customers are likely to use when searching on Google.
E.G If you sell semi skimmed milk and you want your customers to find your website – they are likely to go to Google and search for “semi skimmed milk”. Make sure your key words are in your content and are in the correct order. “Semi skimmed milk” rather than “milk skimmed semi”
When selecting key words for your SEO, make sure that they actually appear somewhere on your page in the body of the content (i.e visible to someone looking at your page). If you have key words that are not present on your page, then this will damage your Google ranking.
